Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to be based in Phoenix, Arizona and help expand our Water Resources practice in Arizona and the four corner states. AECOM is one of the nation's leading water resources firms with opportunities to work with a wide variety of clients on water resources planning, engineering, and design projects for the public and private sector.
The responsibilities of this role include but may not be limited to the following:
- Analysis, design, and management experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Hydrology and hydraulics including 2-D modeling
- Stormwater management
- Drainage master planning
- Dams and levees
- Floodplain mapping
- Highway drainage and bridge hydraulics
- Green infrastructure / low impact development
- River restoration
Qualifications
Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience or a combination of demonstrated equivalency of education and experience
A PE or the ability to obtain one in 6 months from hire date
Experience with analysis/design/management in one or more of the following areas:hydrology and hydraulics including 2-D modeling, stormwater management, drainage master planning, dams and levees, floodplain mapping, highway drainage and bridge hydraulics, river restoration and project management Sponsorship is not available for this position Some travel will be required for this position therefore a valid motor vehicle license in good standing is requiredPreferred Skills
BS degree and 15+ years of experience is highly desired
Experience with Federal Water programs (FEMA, USACE, NRCS) and Business Development
