The second of a series of webinars to discuss the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Levee Safety Program and its effort to develop a comprehensive Engineer Circular (EC) that will provide policy and guidance for implementation of this program. This webinar will be a follow-up to the first webinar and will focus on routine activities including Portfolio Management, Routine Inspections, Periodic Inspections, Levee Screening and Safety Classification, Risk Communication, Operations and Maintenance, Incident Reporting, Permits for Modifications (408 Process) and related subjects.

The number of available lines to participate is limited and webinar participation instructions will be provided based on the order of email replies received. A software program download is required to participate in the webinar. We encourage organizations and offices to consolidate the locations of participation to conserve the number of lines needed. If you do not wish to be contacted further, please note this in your email reply and we will remove you from the emailing list.
The third of the series of webinars to discuss the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Levee Safety Program EC development and non-routine activities is scheduled for
9-10 March 2011.
Topics will include additional information on Portfolio Management processes, tolerability of risk concepts, and future risk management studies/options. (Details about the third webinar will be forwarded at a later date.)
